Hari Mari vs. Rainbow Sandals
There are countless sandal brands out there and It seems as though everyone has a different preference. We often hear people voicing their opinions in this seemingly endless summer sandal showdown. At Islanders, we've decided to put two popular brands to the test: Hari Mari vs. Rainbow.
One of the greatest differences between the two is the break-in period. With Rainbow Sandals, there is a somewhat tough few weeks where the shoes are uncomfortable, causing blisters and pain. It takes some time to break them in and make them feel just right, whereas with Hari Mari Sandals, there is no break in period. The instant you slip them on, it's as if they were made for your feet with their memory foam toe post.
Hari Mari Sandals are constructed out of high grade rubber and foam to ensure they live a long life well after they've served your feet. Helping make our landfills a little greener, both Rainbow Sandals and Hari Mari ask that customers donate their old, worn out flip flops to be recycled. The difference being Hari Mari asks flip flop enthusiasts to donate sandals of any brand, not just Hari Mari. They also give customers 15% off a new pair of Hari Mari flops to those who participate.
Another variance between the two brands are the sandal colors. Or lack thereof. While Rainbow sandals does offer multiple colors. They run mostly in shades of brown with the exception of white and black and a few other colors in select styles. Hari Mari not only crafts sandals that are shades of brown and black, they also create sandals that are in beautiful, fun, creative colors. From bright turquoise to rich purples these colors are vibrant and dazzling and are sure to add some pep in your step.
Hari Mari also offers a 25% discount to students to ensure that they can grab a pair as well. By offering this discount, Hari Mari openly encourages students to stay in school and look stylish while doing so.
While both brands could be considered philanthropic, Hari Mari donates 1% of all sales to Cancer research. They call this Flops Fighting Cancer.
Each of these brands offer great products, but we've found that it's the little things that make a great company even better.
